Project Costing

hey hey.

Elliot, in the project guide thingy on lilias site it says that:

"A complete Project Costing should be included which justifies an overall budget for the project covering the costs of development, evaluation and marketing".

Is there any way we can incorporate the "evaluation and marketing" part into what we have.. or does what we have cover it? Was just curious! =)

Im not sure what the whole marketing thing is about to be honest.. seems rather obscure.

I think once we have made a good attempt at all parts of the first deliverable it would be a good idea to check what we have against that sheet on lilias site.

I'm sure something could be added in to account for a marketing plan and such. Maybe the best thing is to think of the kind of evaluating and marketing we will need and then I can cost the individual elements?

For example, advertising of the hotel would be in various mediums, so a cost per annum etc could be calculated for each of these media.

Or the company itself! Advertising for the company could be done in various ways, such as a newspaper column or web banners etc.

I think the best thing is to discuss the strategy a bit more on Monday so that I can ascertain an idea of prices for individual parts, as i said to Emma-Jane earlier this afternoon this was not asked for in my last project but it seems they have changed it somewhat. Shouldn't be too hard to adjust for though =)

I think 1 analyst should be enough, maybe just add him in as a 3rd programmer. Ill have a new costing with me this morning so that Peter can see it.
